I stop here all the time and get fuel and shower and eat lunch or dinner and get a truck and trailer Wash at the blue becon when I'm here the showers are always clean and the staff is very polite and respectful and helpful
This has the best truck stop showers I have ever seen. New, extremely clean. Waterfall showerhead additional to the regular showerhead. Tv in the large mirror. Plenty of room. Separate controls for the different lights and fan. Restrooms are clean, staff very helpful and courteous. Fresh food selections. Definitely on my must stop here again list.
I love the showers always clean and I know atleast 2 are equipped w Tv's in the mirror. The shop has always did great work. I like this Petro , its 1 of my favorites. Salina ks is just a nice town in general ; very trucker friendly.
Best truck stop showers i have ever used. Clean as a whistle. Large showers with a TV in the mirror. Nice and welcoming staff. New laundry appliances. Blue beacon right next door. Will be adding this Petro to the route from now on.
The Petro itself is great - clean showers, attentive and friendly staff and I will definitely fuel here and plan my stops in this area again as a result. The Iron Skillet, on the other hand, was a tremendous disappointment. The staff was completely inattentive - I sat with an empty iced tea glass through my entire meal, which was on the low end of palatable, at best. I have been stopping at TA and Petro for many years - the restaurants have slowly been getting worse. I guess that is why many locations are closing them or limiting hours. Apparently nobody has bothered to teach them the basics: service, quality, cleanliness. Most fail all three, anymore.
