My son was looking for an engagement ring for his girlfriend so I convinced him to not go to the big box jewelery stores and shop local, that they would stand behind the products they sell. So we went on Vernon Jeweler's website and found a gorgeous set, it was even on sale. We went to the store and showed them online what the advertised price is just to be told it was a mistake and they would not honor the advertised price...seriously? So much for shopping local and besides...isn't that false advertising?
