We love Soggy Dog for boarding! All of the staff know our dogs by first name. We feel so comfortable leaving them at Soggy Dog when we travel. They're always well cared for and the staff even gives them medication when required. Knowing that our dogs are in capable, competent and caring hands while we're gone gives us the peace of mind we need when leaving them.
We have a little guy that can be very sweet but has 'little dog syndrome' when introduced to strangers. He's not vicious but he sure tries to act like it sometimes when he's scared or feels threatened. He is a pom-chi and papilion mix with very long hair and a thick undercoat. With the crazy heat wave, he desperately needed a hair cut to help him stay cool. It was his first time going to the groomers and I was nervous about how he was going to react. Especially towards the staff, knowing his personality when it comes to strangers. But they were great. He looks adorable and he seems to be staying a lot cooler already. As long as we live here in Salina, we will definitely be taking him back here for any future grooming needs.
We take Sky to Soggy Dogs weekly and she absolutely loves it! There is no better place than Soggy Dogs- Diane and the staff have created a one of a kind experience for the dogs, they treat the dogs (kids) as their own, the place is absolutely spotless and in no way overwhelming to the dogs as far as loudness and intimidating! We recently took our dog on vacation and researched the best dog daycare with best reviews in that area, we took Sky there and absolutely no comparison to Soggy Dogs! I can honestly say, Sky will never go anywhere else but Soggy Dogs- I can't say enough about this place, I know Sky is loved there just as much as she is at home- Soggy Dogs will always be a part of our family!
Called for a grooming for my doggie, next available appointment was 3 weeks away! Must be a good place! Instead, I booked a time where I could bathe doggie on my own. Much more convenient than trying it at home. They have a raised/enclosed sink, water spray, shampoo, conditioner and blow dryer. Good deal!
Diane and her team are wonderful. We knew immediately the very first time we visited Soggy Dog Salon that they are totally dedicated to giving our dogs the best care and are sincerely concerned for their happiness and well-being. We have driven from Manhattan KS a number of times for grooming and over night kenneling of our Welsh Terrier and Scottie...both being senior citizens and needing special attention. Soggy Dog Salon is super clean, organized, and delivers a first class experience. We also are impressed with their security camera system. Katy & Cricket come home clean and happy every time. We just wish there was a Soggy Dog in Manhattan!
