I love the mall, only the few remaining stores we have left. Hopefully it will bounce back
It was cool an all. Good stores good food friendly workers. Only thing that truned me off from jump street was. I'm a plus size lady and I have back an knee injurys having surgery in 3 weeks and its hard for me to walk any kind of distance. Myself and my sis n law are pretty much in the same shape. So we were discussing rideing in the carts on the way in the front entrence. An playfully saying we should have a race down the main walkway through the mall. As we go inside an approach the counter with a elderly female in charge of the carts. I say Hello MaMa we would like to use 2 of the carts to do our shopping. She informs me that there is a rental fee plus a nonrefundaBle deposit in order to use the carts. I was speechless, floored I ask if she was kidding and she asured me that she was not an then pointed to the sign with the rental rules on it. I said now this is a DAMNED Shame!! I have to pay in order for me to get around comfortable for items that are way over priced in the first place and that I can find at Outlet Malls a HELL of a lot cheaper. To have the audacity to make money on me when I walk in the door. NONEREFUNDABLE DEPOSIT MY ASS!!!
Many stores available to go to. Plenty of parking options. It's a busy parking lot and sometimes not the easiest to get out of, but the Hobby Lobby is here as well as Big Lots, Marshalls, ULTA, Rock's Sporting Goods, and other stores, so it's a popular area to shop in Salina.
The old Salina Mall. Not bad. A strip mall now.
Shopped Dick's Sporting Goods. Store was clean and well-lit. It was staffed appropriately in the various departments including a very knowledgeable associate in the gun area. Exterior parking lot will be needing some work soon. We did not have to wait in line at the checkout and the staff was friendly in all locations.
