Great service by both Stasha and the manager Chris they had gave me a great price on the couch and chair that we bought from lazy boy at there store on 9th street in Salina. Better yet, it was deleverd the same day. The delevery guys were so careful and respectuf to not only me and my husband but to our home too. Im not a big tipper, but those guys definitely deseved the money we tipped them.
We recently moved into a larger home and needed several pieces of furniture. We had been to another furniture store in town before, but had not yet tried Feldkamp. Michelle met us when we walked in and told us the specials. She then allowed us to shop but was always available in a moment if we had any questions and was extremely helpful. I was very surprised at the nice selection and variety of quality brands they carried.
Went to Feldkamp's after going to a number of other stores. They were having a sale. And what a sale. The person who showed us around (Connie) was very patient and knowledgeable of all lines of furniture. Choosing wasn't easy because they had so much variety. After about 2 hours, and miles of walking from one set to another, we chose. Took 6 weeks for the place to build it to our specs. The delivery people were AWESOME!!! Polite, quiet and efficient. Took our old furniture out to give to a half way house, and installed/built the new furniture in situ. Overall, a most enjoyable experience, can't say enough good about them.
My experience furniture shopping in the past usually involved fairly pushy salespeople who you could tell were just out to make a buck. Michelle was friendly, very helpful, and never pushy. We did buy a chair from the competition down the street...but only because it was a style we had been looking for at a reasonable price; but the salesperson was constantly trying to "close the sale". The whole staff at Feldkamp was friendly and helpful...it was a very pleasant experience. They even gave us FREE shipping on our order when I asked for it. The other store would not. We ended up going back a couple of times and will be back again.
