A few weeks back, I went to this dealership to inquire about a few vehicles they had that I may have been interested in purchasing. Guy #1(Mike Q) gave me the information and kept reiterating "these are pretty expensive". He must have said it at least 10 times. So fast forward a couple weeks, I gave them an opportunity to reveal themselves for a second chance. Guy #2(Bill) comes out, gives me the spill on the same vehicles I had inquired on before. He immediately shied me away from the "more expensive" ones and again kept telling me how they are "pretty expensive" vehicles. I get it dude. So I decided to go ahead and test drive it. Before I left, he took down my information and asked me what my husband does for a living (never once asked me about my job/income). So I brought it home for my husband to look at. Wasn't even gone for 45min and he's calling me to bring it back. "He was worried something had happened" (Christ dude, if you think my husband is buying me a car, don't you think I should talk it over with him?!) Anyways. So we took the car back, and I brought My husband with me so he could look at the other ones. The guy again kept saying, "these are pretty expensive, this one here is almost $20,000". At this point I had finally heard enough and said, "ok, that's fine I CAN afford this. That's not an issue". I think he finally got the hint that I was a little upset. We finished talking and as we were walking away he pointed across the lot and said "well, if money isn't an issue here, then why don't you buy that Tahoe there, it's $50,000". Thank you for solidifying my decision to take my business elsewhere...
Did not buy this time But will be back with my son in two months....Very helpful group of people...
Purchased a clean Lincoln and in the process became family to the sales and office staff...their prices are fair and they have good communication...in a nutshell, its a great place to buy a used car...take it from me, they got your back...Hobbo Joe
I stopped at every used car lot in Salina and The Car Shoppe was the best by far! Friendly staff, salesman Mike came out to talk with me and wasn't pushy at all most of the other lots I stopped at I was all but ignored, I told him what my budget was and the car that I was interested in we looked at the car I filled out an app and a few days later was approved. All the staff that I interacted with was polite and helpful, I did have an issue with the car after purchase and they resolved it immediately great place would do business with them again in a heart beat best used car dealer I have ever dealt with A++
Have purchased 3 vehicles from them, couldn't ask for a nicer group of people. Will always be my first stop when looking for my next purchase. Highly recommend
